We can't thank you enough for representing us at the funeral. It was good to know that Sajih was not alone in his beliefs at that funeral. From the way you write about Sajih, I can tell that you are a great friend to him.

Thank you for the update about the funeral. I have a sense of closure about it now.

Sajih, we know you will be hurting about this for a long time. You tried your best to pass on the truth about God and the Bible to your Brother. You have to believe that your Brother accepted the truth in the end.

I have also learnt a valuable lesson from all this. I will be making a written document outlining specific details about how I would want my own funeral conducted. God willing, my funeral will not be for a very long time from now, but just in case - I want to know that all my family & friends will be respecting my wishes. I don't want some stubborn relative or priest hijacking the proceedings for my funeral. My wife will have to organize the funeral, and I know I can trust her to do it according to my wishes. If someone gets in her way about it, she can show them my written instructions. Maybe I should also video record myself with the instructions. I need to learn how to transfer videos out of my iphone first. But the point is that if I make my wishes very clear, then there won't be any misunderstandings about how my funeral is to be conducted. I wouldn't want my wife to go through the added pain of sitting through a funeral that does not respect God.

Once again Sajih, I'm sorry for your loss and I'm sorry you had to go through that ceremony knowing how God felt about it. You are very strong and very patient.
