Dear Brother Geoge,

Thank you for the words of support.

We are all shocked here in the States. Some people I know are too afraid to go to a sporting venue or any public place, fearing some lunatic might suddenly pull out a machine gun on the crowds. It's a sad world we live in where this kind of thing is happening more frequently. Nearly every week there is a school shooting somewhere in America. It's so common now that not all of the school shootings even make the national news headlines anymore. Some just get a small mention on the evening news. Most just get local news coverage from the town where the shooting happened. I remember when the Columbine school shooting happened, it was all over the news, every day, and around the world. The entire country and most of the world was shocked and in disbelief.

Nowadays a school shooting is just one recurring incident in another typical week in the USA. May God help us.
